ARCHIE, MO -- Leading agriculture technology firm IntelliFarms is growing into another neighboring state, announcing the opening of its second satellite office in Columbus, NE. The company is expanding to meet its customers “where they are” and work with them and the company’s vendor partners to better tailor product and educational offerings to local needs.

President and CEO Todd Sears and his team will host an educational workshop followed by an open house as part of a grand opening celebration in Columbus on August 16. The office is located at 2031 23rd St. in Columbus, between new Papa John’s and Subway locations.

The company’s headquarters and manufacturing facility are in Archie, MO, where the number of employees has taken off from 5 in 2010 to the current staff of more than 50. In 2014 and 2015, Inc. Magazine recognized IntelliFarms on their list of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

"We’re eager to keep growing, but our focus is on growing to serve our customers. Our priorities are bringing value and profit to the independent farmer through effective products and education, and a local presence increases our ability to meet those goals," said Sears. "Columbus is in the heart a highly productive and highly valuable crop-producing region, and is home to a lot of agriculture businesses and activity. It is the perfect location to grow relationships with these other businesses and strengthen our partnerships with Nebraska's growers."

The IntelliFarms Columbus office is designed to serve as an educational space for regular workshops which will cover the challenges of modern ag, strategies and technology solutions available and best practices for field management and grain storage management. The space will double as a showroom of IntelliFarms' technologies and as a meeting area for neighbor-to-neighbor conversations about the future of farming. Future plans include utilizing the office as a hub of regional sales, marketing and installation activity.

The Columbus office is one of six offices that the company will open by the end of 2017. The first office in Marshalltown, Iowa opened in July 2016.
